The new Optex Above ground vehicle sensor – no civil engineering work required, just mount to barrier or the existing gate post.
The Optex Vechicle detector is designed to reliably detect the presence of a stationary or moving vehicle while also having the ability to ignore most human traffic. It also eliminates the hassles associated with the installation of an induction loop. No more concrete or tarmac cutting required. The detector can be mounted at 500mm from the ground and can detect both small and large vehicles. The vehicle sensor can be directed towards on coming traffic or positioned across the drive. The range and sensitivity are fully adjustable complete with a human cancellation setting to allow the units to ignore pedestrians.
The Optex device uses FMCW (Microwave) and ultrasonic technology to detect large vehicles either coming towards or crossing the line of detection. It has been successfully fitted at schools and universities .
The easy loop detector replacement system, no need to cut in new cables, just mount to existing traffic barrier or gate post.
The system uses microwave and ultrasonic detection methods to identify vehicles and can be used to replace any 5000 mm loops.
